A lifetime in the making, 'LXXXVIII' is the culmination of 25 years' honing mind-shorting, soul-igniting audio infusions for dance floors, rave dens, festivals, and concert halls.

bar italia,the London based three-piece of Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi and Sam Fenton will release their second full length of 2023, 'The Twits', less than six months after their acclaimed Matador debut, Tracey Denim. The album was recorded by the trio over eight weeks from February 2023 in a makeshift home studio in Mallorca, and was mixed by Marta Salogni. Plausibly named after a Roald Dahl children's book, it finds bar italia's economical yet evocative songcraft taking raucous, mystic, unkempt, occasionally sinister, and wholly committed turns.

Hilary's third full length album, recorded and mixed along the west coast of Ireland and in various other locations, including the Procathedral in Dublin and field recordings recorded nomadically throughout her time spent travelling through the north and south of Spain. "Acts of Light" is a deeply sonic and sensory rite of passage comprised of nine raw, cavernous, hypnotic dirges, riven with languorously elongated double bass and sacred choral drones.

On Ian Sweet's upcoming full-length album, SUCKER, creative mastermind Jilian Medford delivers the strongest and most personal batch of songs she's ever written - brimming with despair, vulnerability, and remorse. Recorded at The Outlier Inn, nestled in New York state's southern Catskill mountains, and mixed by Al Carlson (St. Vincent, Weyes Blood, Jessica Pratt), the album showcases Medford's ability to craft beautiful pop songs that tug at your heartstrings while at the same time, busting wide open with layers of lush synths and overblown guitars.

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett regaled audiences for over five decades with songs about the faces and places from his lifelong journey along the road less traveled. His upcoming album Equal Strain On All Parts is a new chapter in that story as a playful and heartfelt gift to his dedicated fans. Inspired by his grandfather’s description of a good nap, the new album features some well-known friends, including Paul McCartney, Emmylou Harris, Angelique Kidjo, and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. It is the final album to be completed prior to his death on September 1, 2023.

This new album sees Taylor Skye (producer and musical mastermind of Jockstrap alongside Georgia Ellery) remix their Mercury Prize Shortlisted and Album of 2022 (Billboard, NPR, Pitchfork & more), I Love You Jennifer B. Collaborating with a series of inspirational artists (Babymorocco, Coby Sey, Kirin J Callinan), Taylor focuses on the sonic palette and retexturing of the music. After a sold out tour this summer, including performances at Wembley Stadium (supporting Blur), Pitchfork Festival and Glastonbury – the duo return for their first run of West Coast tour dates before returning to London for two sold out nights at The Barbican.

The three-way 'Los Angeles' collaboration was born out of a curiosity which just wouldn't die. Perusing the tracklist, with it's guest credits for, amongst others, LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy, Bobby Gillespie, Civil Rights avant-gardist Lonnie Holley, Starcrawler wildchild Arrow de Wilde and The Edge from U2, you may rightly wonder just what the 13-track long-player holds in store. The answer: a hard-hitting and compulsively exploratory 55-minute electronic mindscrew, founded on unrivalled rhythmic expertise, fleshed out with an armory of synths, guitars (Jacknife's forte) and supplementary percussion, often overlaid with elite-class strings and brass, then universally twisted, manipulated and quite masterfully sculpted by Lee, with his super-producer's hat on.

Visionary guitarist Marnie Stern bursts in like a shower of stardust on The Comeback Kid, her first new album in a decade. The Masterplan is a compilation album by Oasis, originally released in 1998. It comprises B-sides which never made it onto an album up to that point. Originally intended for release only in areas such as the United States and Japan, where the tracks were previously only available on expensive European-import singles, The Masterplan reached number 2 in the UK, where it initially went platinum, and number 51 in the United States.

The second self-titled album from Will Miller's Resavoir is a subtly radiant symphony interweaving modern-day soul-jazz with bedroom beats, synth serenades and twilight sonatas. Featuring a massive list of contributors including Elton Aura, Whitney, Akenya, Matt Gold, Eddie Burns, Lane Beckstrom, Jeremy Cunningham, Irvin Pierce, Macie Stewart, Peter Manheim and many more.

The fourth full-length studio album by American alternative rock band Semisonic, set for release on November 3, 2023 through Pleasuresonic Recordings. It will be the band's first full-length album in 22 years since 2001's All About Chemistry.

Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist Sen Morimoto’s third album Diagnosis sees him flip the script. After releasing two albums – 2018 debut Cannonball! and a 2021 self-titled follow-up – via his own Sooper Records, the artist signed to City Slang to co-release his third album alongside Sooper, and it came at a time of fundamental change. With mental health discourse and artists’ trauma teetering between serving as positive forms of expression and becoming dangerous, exploitative selling points, the true and just recipient of your ire should be the systems themselves. 

Snail Mail returns with her first recordings since the critically adored 2021 LP 'Valentine.' It collects four intimate recordings leading up to Snail Mail’s most recent studio album along with a never-before-heard track "Easy Thing."

A masterpiece without many genre precedents, Earth 2 surely helped send doom metal down it's more modern drone, ambient, and avant-garde avenues. Those descendants are obvious. William Eggleston is a famed photographer and musician credited for iconic album covers such as Spoon's Transference and Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American. 512 was inspired and recorded at the Parkview Apartments in Memphis, Tennessee where Eggleston lived for almost ten years. The apartment was full of art and inspiration: cameras, naturally, but also high-end stereo tube amplifiers and objects that you'd rush towards money in hand at your local flea market. But also a gigantic nine foot Bosendorfer grand piano and a massive grand vintage JBL theater speaker console.
