The two years since 1% Juice is a relatively long time without a new Wayne Graham album and indeed a lot has happened in the meantime. Kenny and Hayden Miles have continued to play in other projects and bands in produced in her studio. Among other things, Kenny Miles has the new Tyler Childers album recorded and mixed - almost a country superstar beyond the Nashville mainstream in the USA, a kind of national saint in Kentucky. Wayne Graham also wrote and recorded an album. And again discarded. Some of those songs have become fan favorites when they perform live advanced and circulating on the internet. They are not included here. ISH is something entirely something else: an intimate philosophical and musical exchange between brothers. Guests and the members of the live band can only be heard in three places. The starting point was a collection of beats that Hayden Miles used as voice memos recorded alone with his drum kit. The two brothers then their order is predetermined and the songs on the album in that exact order composed and decked out from one to eleven. They have tones and Speeds, bars and moods chosen in such a way that in some places you can't tell whether you hear the outro of the song you just heard or the intro of the next. Everything flows. The initial question How was your night? slides into a new day, also known as Can read the memory and reflection of a lifetime - or more fundamentally than Ask what it actually means to be human. The loose concept of the album is Biblically grounded - actually a novelty, but also somehow logical for the two Sons of a free church founder. Naturally psychedelic and free thinking - wild alternating between science, fiction and poetry. Kenny Miles publishes the book When We Cease to Understand the World by BenjamÃn Labatut as a source of inspiration.
