Mutant and WaterTower Music, in partnership with DC Studios, are thrilled to announce the release of the Peacemaker: Season 2 (Soundtrack from the HBO Max® Series), a compilation of songs personally curated by series creator, writer, and director James Gunn. The album includes standout tracks from the season, including the unforgettable opening sequence anthem, “Oh Lord” by Foxy Shazam. James Gunn shared his enthusiasm for the project: “It’s probably my favorite soundtrack ever. A lot of the type of music we put on the show people think of as cheesy… and the character is a little cheesy, he’s a numbskull, but below the surface there’s something beautiful, and that’s true about the music as well.” With its bold mix of high-energy anthems and unexpected deep cuts, the Peacemaker: Season 2 Soundtrack continues the tradition of music playing a central role in Gunn’s storytelling.
