A special 7-inch single featuring Uyama Hiroto's cover of The Isley Brothers' classic, '(At Your Best) You Are Love,' with vocals by Hanah Spring-previously sung by Aaliyah-has been released to celebrate the collaboration project between Cafe Apres-midi, which marks it's 25th anniversary, and BAYCREW'S interior brand ACME Furniture. Uyama Hiroto feat. Hanah Spring's newly recorded cover of the classic '(At Your Best) You Are Love,' originally by The Isley Brothers and also covered by Aaliyah, pairs beautifully with Lincoln Briney's cover of Sade's iconic track 'Love Is Stronger Than Pride. 'This 7-inch single is an exciting release from the double-name compilation album 'Interior Music - Cafe Apres-midi meets ACME Furniture,' which commemorates the collaboration project celebrating the 25th anniversary of Cafe Apres-midi and the ACME Furniture brand, curated and selected by Tohru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA). Under the theme of the 'marriage of furniture and music,' Hashimoto's selections feature timeless covers that have long graced the comfortable atmosphere of Cafe Apres-midi, including works by Sade, Weldon Irvine, and Roger Nichols. The album also showcases newly recorded masterpieces such as Wack Wack Rhythm Band's cover of The Style Council's 'My Ever Changing Moods,' Tetsurou Yabune's cover of Kenny Rankin's 'Haven't We Met,' and Uyama Hiroto's rendition of The Isley Brothers' '(At Your Best) You Are Love. ' Additionally, the album includes superb new remixes, like Mixmaster Morris' version of Calm x Holger Czukay's 'Persian Love' and Calm's remix of Yoshiharu Takeda x Bobby Hutcherson's 'Montara.
