Black Arcs Rising is the third full length album from the Swedish power trio Statues. It's the kind of indie punk-rock that you would expect to hear in a damp venue in the midwest during the late 80s, right before Sonic Youth or Hüsker Dü walked up on stage. It's simple, impulsive, eccentric, and just wonderful.
