Whether it be his releases on world-class imprints such as Anjunadeep, Bedrock, Last Night on Earth, Factory93, and his own burgeoning diviine imprint, through to his legendary DJ sets, Spencer Brown is an artist who’s going the extra mile to deliver an uncompromised sound and experience to his fans. Spencer got his start touring and releasing with Avicii and Above & Beyond, with his records soon frequenting sets of tastemakers including deadmau5, Sasha, John Digweed, Calvin Harris, Dubfire, Fisher, and Hernán Cattáneo. After two #1 progressive house albums, here he presents ‘Equanimity’, his third LP and first on his own diviine label. A triumphant release that draws influences from all across the board. Take for example the lead single ‘Awu Wemadoda’ featuring Wilt Claybourne & five-time Grammy Award-winning South African male choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, that blends an afro house flavour with Spencer’s expansive, richly layered sonics.
