This was the only Miracles studio LP to climb into the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart, where it remained for 40 weeks, peaking at #8. It also peaked at #1 on Billboard's R&B albums chart and achieved Gold Record status in 2003. It was ranked #271 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, #273 in the 2012 revised list, and #412 in the 2020 revised list.
