Comprised of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, Tel Aviv based Red Axes are informed by post-punk, new wave, and a plethora of club sounds old and new. They have a deep understanding of the connection between post punk and dance via their beloved Factory records, and in the 2000s the same dots were being joined by the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Optimo, Erol Alkan and the late Andrew Weatherall. Hedonistic, mischievous and bristling with rock’n’roll energy, the album’s campaign opened with ‘HEY’ - made in collaboration with performance artist and vocalist A.lonzo (co-founder of Tel Aviv garage band The Crotches). Now hooked up fabric’s latest imprint ‘fabric Originals’ Red Axes have come full circle bringing all of that together in the glories of their forthcoming music on the album ‘One More City’.
