Negura Bunget Virstele Pamintului
Negurã Bunget was the first Black Metal band of Transilvania. Constantly devoted in promoting the Transilvanian Spirituality, Negurã Bunget shall always believe in an Universal Transcendent concept of Black Metal, whom essences go beyond the times and places... The band started it's presence back in 1995, after few years and demos, they signed in 2000 with Italian cult-label code666, 'N Crugu Bradului album, the first one to be released by code666 Records, can be seen as a spiritual endeavor though the essences of the Transilvanian traditional spirituality. Just 4 tracks, symbolizing the evolution of a year's 4 seasons, yet 54 minutes of conceptual Black Metal. The album was released in February 2003, and got incredibly positive reviews all over the media, finally making the band known on the international scene. The Band then started Touring Europe and playing the biggest Metal Festivals, bringing on stage their unique blend of Progressive Black Metal. After the MCD "Inarborat Kosmos" in late spring 2005, the band entered Negura Recording Studios to prepare their worldwide acclaimed masterpiece titled "Om", focused around the symbolism and signification of one unitary concept... This album went on selling well over 20.000 copies, and it is worldwide considered one of the very BEST metal albums emerging from the underground BM scene. The spring of 2009 bought new challenges for the Negura Bunget: Hupogrammos and Sol Faur left the band, and a new line-up was formed by founding member Negru. The first gigs in the new line-up followed soon after, then in autumn 2009 the band decided to move into the wilderness of the local carpathian mountains to concentrate solely on the work for the new opus titled Vîrstele Pamîntului.
