Mindless Sinner began as Purple Haze in 1981. They changed their name to Genocide after singer Christer Göransson joined the band later that year, and by August of 1983, the had reached their final moniker. They recorded a four-track demo entitled Master Of Evil, which attracted Swedish label Fingerprint Records, who released the NWOBHM-inspired material as a mini-album in January of 1984. By then, the line-up of the band was Anders Karlsson (bass), Magnus Danneblad (guitar), Jerker Edman (guitar), Tommy Johansson (drums) and Christer Göransson (vocals). The second album, Turn On The Power, followed in 1986. This reissue from High Roller Records is a must have for fans of Swedish metal.
