Side A presents a brilliant rendition of 'Wind Parade,' Donald Byrd's immortal 1975 masterpiece that has been widely sampled in hip hop. The iconic bassline remains intact, while Roni Alkekengi's transparent vocals and a bold substitution of flute in place of trumpet create a uniquely groovy interpretation. Side B is a refined cover of the 1972 soul classic 'People Make the World Go Round' by The Stylistics, which has also been heavily sampled and covered. Medline retains the charm of the original while adding his own polished touch.
