Reissue of the sought-after debut album (2016) from celebrated and multiple award-winning Icelandic exceptional artist Junius Meyvant is now available. Floating Harmonies is presented as a high-quality double LP in a gatefold cover with printed inner sleeve, including two bonus tracks Honey Babe, Don't Be Late and Mr. Minister Great on Record Records. Unnar GĂsli Sigurmundsson, born in 1982 on the volcanic islands of Vestmannaeyjar in Iceland, was influenced by his musical and religious upbringing and discovered his love for music early on, starting with singing, playing guitar, and songwriting. His talent emerged in 2014 with the release of his debut single Color Decay, which catapulted him to the top of the national charts. As an art alter ego, he has successfully released three albums under the name Junius Meyvant: Floating Harmonies (2016), Across The Borders (2019), and most recently, Guru (2022), which have earned him several awards at the Iceland Music Awards, including Best Newcomer, Singer, and Song. With extensive concert tours throughout Europe and stops in New York and the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle, he has established himself as an artist and is celebrated by critics and fans alike.
