On March 8, 2007, Gino Paoli took the stage at Teatro Soresina in Cremona alongside five leading figures of Italian jazz: Enrico Rava, Danilo Rea, Flavio Boltro, Rosario Bonaccorso, and Roberto Gatto. This live-recorded concert became an album featuring the greatest hits of the legendary Genoese songwriter, reinterpreted in a jazz style-from Sapore di Sale to La Gatta, from Il cielo in una stanza to Senza fine, from Una lunga storia d'amore to Sassi, which also inspired the album's cover artwork.
