Fast Kids My Advice b/w Out of State Plates

Wick Records is proud to present the debut 45 from Fast Kids–the newest addition to NYC's power-pop milieu. Both tracks written and performed by Mystery Lights' frontman, Mike Brandon, Fast Kids delivers two raw, saccharine dipped gems. Heavily inspired by Jack Lee & The Nerves, "My Advice" packs punchy bass lines, biting guitar and infectious harmonies into a three minute tale about giving unwanted advice. "Out of State Plates" is a soulful albeit playful story about the allure of spotting out of state plates in small-town USA. The song captures the irresistible urge to know–tipping into full-on, overly cautious nosiness.
