The Dutch pop group Doe Maar has been conquering hearts since the late years '70. With influences from ska, punk and reggae, a unique Pop sound. In the mid-'80s, the band announced the end from Doe Maar aan, but in November 1999 it was announced that the band got back together for a one-off reunion. This resulted in only no fewer than 16 shows in Ahoy Rotterdam. These performances were recorded and formed the album Hees van Ahoy in 2000, the second live album of Go ahead. The album is full of memories and for those who are with it it feels like they are back in Ahoy again. Now, more than 20 years later, these sing-along songs will be released on vinyl for the first time.
