Burs Significance, Otherness

Burs (the small things that stick with you). The new record was recorded in a church in Toronto with Eli Browning, and features live-off-the-floor band performances. With an array of alternative guitar tunings and layers of ambient wash across the record, adorning their heart-filled songwriting they've taken to the term "Drone-y Mitchell" as a genre indicator. The band is a four-headed heart-fuelled collaboration between some of Toronto's finest musicians. At their core are songs that feel both familiar and challenging, full of big harmonies, crunchy guitars, propulsive drums and lush arrangements.
