On the shores of Portugal, deep in the north of the country, a creature lurks in the shadow. Vøidwomb is a black metal quintet born in 2019, which so far released a debut EP, Altars of Cosmic Devotion. After three years in the shades, the band based in Viana Do Castelo is back to the light with their first full-length album. Spiritual Apotheōsis is a nine-track immersive black metal experience that will guide you through the inherent utter darkness of human condition and the cathartic search for enlightenment. Mixed and mastered by Diogo Santana at Noise Portrait Studios, with a cover painting by prolific painter Daniel Hermosilla (Nox Fragor Art), Vøidwomb debut album is a record about understanding darkness and sacrificing self to reach transcendence. Spiritual Apotheosis will be released on CD, LP and digital via Avantgarde Music on May 24th, 2024.
