Only Love Remains is Yemen Blues' boldest offering yet. The eleven-track album embraces the strengths of all four accomplished musicians and the richness of their individual cultures - the traditional to the modern and the sounds of the East to the West. Co-produced by the band and New York-based Yemen Blues' bassist Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz, known for his avant-garde work with John Zorn and Yo-Yo Ma, Only Love Remains is simultaneously a very direct and visceral emotional connection and an enigmatic spiritual quest, both enlightening and questioning.At a time of dangerous political, religious, and cultural polarization and xenophobia, Yemen Blues and Only Love Remains lead by example, creating a color-blind, all-embracing celebration of gyrating togetherness with love firmly at it's pulsing core.
