Double vinyl LP pressing. 2018 release, a YMO 40th anniversary compilation selected by Tei Towa focusing on experimental/ minimal tracks re-imagined as "YMO resounds for today". Tracks were picked not only from YMO's discography but also from the members solo albums during the Alfa years. Many of the original albums are still out of print (Takahashi's Neuromantic, Sakamoto's B2-Unit). Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) is a Japanese electronic music band formed in Tokyo in 1978 by Haruomi Hosono (bass, keyboards, vocals), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums, lead vocals) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards, vocals). The group is considered influential and innovative in the field of popular electronic music.
