K-INDIE's representative band 'We Are the Night' suddenly releases the popular challenge song 'Tiramisu Cake' 7-inch!The hit song 'Tiramisu Cake' by the talented band 'We Are the Night', which represents the Korean indie scene, will be released as a 7-inch for the first time. The song was first released in 2015, and reappeared in 2018 as the soundtrack for the drama 'To. Jenny', where it spread by word of mouth. In addition, in 2022, it attracted attention again due to the influence of Kim Sung-Cheol, the lead actor of 'To. Jenny', and became established as a challenge song among the MZ generation, and many K-POP artists participated in the 'Tiramisu Cake Challenge', gaining worldwide popularity. In response to it's popularity, 'Tiramisu Cake' will be released as a 7-inch as part of the analog project 'K-Indies Series' by the label 'Bside', which introduces talented Korean artists. The A-side will feature the original 2024 mix version, and the B-side will feature the band's latest song 'Lantern', released for the first time in about two years. 'Lantern' is an energetic song that is different from previous 'We Are the Night' tracks, and has received great support from fans and lovers of the indie and electronic genres. The original artwork of the 7-inch with single covers for each track further increases it's value as a collection. Formed in 2013, the indie pop band 'We Are the Night' expresses the themes of anxiety, hope, and love of young people of the same generation with a dreamy and sensual sound based on synthesizers. Having released four full-length albums so far and delivered their unique 'cinematic sound' to listeners, they will use this 7-inch release with 'Bside' as a starting point to knock on the door of the Japanese music market.
