A compilation album celebrating 7 years of documenting today's Japanese jazz - from the label Days of DelightDays of Delight, a new platform dedicated to Japanese jazz (founded and produced by Akiomi Hirano), will release the compilation album Spirit of "Days of Delight" vol. 5 (DOD-057) on October 23, 2025. This release commemorates the 7th anniversary of the independent label Days of Delight, which has specialized in Japanese jazz since it's establishment. It marks the label's 59th release, featuring performances that represent the highest standard of Japanese jazz - from living legends who thrived in the "golden 1970s" to rising stars in their 20s.
