This soundtrack includes original music from Outlander Season 3, the critically acclaimed series by Emmy award-winning composer Bear McCreary. The third season allowed him to further develop familiar themes, and introduce new melodies, instrumentation, and nuance to the score. He recorded a new version of 'The Skye Boat Song' for it's main title by rearranging it for baroque instrumentation, while Raya Yarbrough performed certain passages in French. He ended this third season as the first two, with a soaring quotation of the Stones Theme, the melody that represents mysticism and epic journeys, as the camera pans up to show us a glimpse of America, and adventures yet to come.
