Reissue of a rare 1988 LP by the great Chet Baker. This is the last recording of legendary Chet Baker. The producer of NDR radio in Hamburg (who had set in with Chet at a Hamburg jazzclub as a drummer many years ago which was an unforgettable experience for him) had asked Chet what his favourite project would be, carte blanche. Well, he answered that he would love to record with a quintet of good friends, a jazz big band and a symphonic orchestra. All were provided and the result is a breath taking event indeed.
