Uh Humanus

‘uh’ is one of the most common sounds heard in the English language. An imitative that holds no linguistic meaning. For siblings Dominic and Fionnuala Kennedy, it’s this ambiguity of the term that draws them to it.Many of the tracks on their debut album 'humanus' are skittish, urgent and beat-driven. It’s a record that hurtles into the expanse of its surroundings. Recorded in PRAH Studios in one week, the tracks were predominantly recorded live with a selection of roland synths & modular gear.
