Recorded mostly in 1968 as a concept album about life, the album was rejected by Warners, which led to the band putting it out themselves. Musically, it sits in similar hallowed space to the Beach Boys’ (1967), with dashes of the Millennium’s (1968) and the Four Seasons’ (1969) in its adventurous vocal harmonies and arrangements.
Ace have licensed the album directly from B.T. Puppy and have used the correct, band-approved running order.
Housed in a replica of the original “Intercourse” sleeve, the album comes with an inner sleeve with liner notes by Bob Stanley.
