Sweden's Sweet Teeth, signed to Lövely, is finally ready to release their highly anticipated debut album High Anxiety. After the success of their 2021 EP Acid Rain, which saw the band getting hyped by Little Steven (Bruce Springsteen) and Classic Rock Mag, the band has played several electrifying live shows, sharing stages with bands like Millencolin, Hurula, Freedom and Märvel. Now they return with the Alternative Rock explosion that is High Anxiety, blending noisy guitars, sugar sweet melodies and honest lyrics into a dazzling powerpop gem. The band comments: With High Anxiety, we wanted to make an album with as little hassle as possible. No long solos or extra unnecessary stuff to fill out the songs, they simply didn't need that. Still, we didn't want to limit ourselves, instead we wanted to find our own formula. The result is a collection of pop songs played with a punk/hardcore feel. High Anxiety was recorded in Welfare Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden, with Per Stålberg. The vocals were recorded in Crypt of Death studios with Joona Hassinen. High Anxiety was mixed by Per Stålberg and mastered by Joona Hassinen in Studio Underjord.
