すずめのティアーズ Kawaigaranse / Kawaigaranse Harikuyamaku Remix
'Kawaigarense,' from the first album 'Sparrow's Arrows Fly so High' by Suzume no Tears, a female duo unit that sings Japanese folk songs such as Goshu Ondo in polyphony, has been decided to be released as a 7-inch single! The B-side includes a remix version by dub engineer HARIKUYAMAKU. Suzume no Tears is a Japanese folk song polyphony unit consisting of Sato Miyuki (vocals, Kaval), who sings folk songs from the Balkan region including Bulgaria, and Akasa (vocals, gut guitar, percussion), a singer-songwriter and head of DOYASA! Records. Their first album, 'Sparrow's Arrows Fly so High,' released in March 2024, won first place in the pop song/J-POP category of Music Magazine's 'Best Album 2024' and was highly praised both at home and abroad, including consecutive charting on the Transglobal World Music Chart. They will then release the long-awaited analog record (DYSU1) at RECORDSTORE DAY 2025. The acoustic dance tune 'Kawaigarense,' which is included in the album, will be released as a 7-inch single. On the B-side, a new remix by Okinawa's proud dub engineer HARIKUYAMAKU is included. With the theme of 'Sparrow's Tears in Tropical Forests,' the Japanese folk song has been elevated to a fantastical, exotic sound, as if one had wandered into the African continent. The latest work by Suzume's Tears, which opens up new possibilities for folk songs, is now available in a limited edition. LISTEN: https://youtu. Be/w03mIVAhPk8SonglistA1. CutenessB1.
