The latest on Palto Flats is the Shakey debut, a project from Silvia Kastel and Lizzie Davis (Wilted Woman), both who migrated from noise and free improv to the jagged edges of the dance music scene. A syncretic meshing of both artists sensibilities, Shakey encompasses the duo's love of digi-dub, jungle, musique concrete, and the fusing of ambient textures with abstracted rhythms.
