Originally released in 1970, Cold Fact is the cult-classic debut by Detroit singer-songwriter Rodriguez, blending gritty folk-rock with psychedelic soul and socially conscious lyrics. While it initially saw little commercial success in the U.S., the album became an unintentional anthem for anti-apartheid activists in South Africa and eventually found global fame through the documentary Searching for Sugar Man.
