Flowers At Your Feet, the debut solo album from Rahill, is available on olive green color 1LP with artworked insert. The album includes a collaboration with Beck. Originally hailing from Detroit and currently based in upstate New York, Rahill Jamalifard is a multidisciplinary artist working within numerous overlapping musico-poetic traditions. Informed by her upbringing in a diasporic Iranian-American household, as well as her lifelong, genre-spanning musical explorations, Rahill’s forthcoming solo releases constitute, at once, a natural progression of—and departure from—her work with the seminal NYC psych-rock outfit, Habibi, which she co-founded. Rahill’s songs occupy a familiar, contemplative mode—blending jazz, trip/hip-hop, and folk traditions spanning east and west. The album features a collaboration with avant-pop legend Beck on single “Fables”, which also includes a music video featuring Rahill, Beck, and Iranian-American actress Medallion Rahimi (NCIS Series). The album also includes production from Alex Epton (FKA Twigs, Jamie xx, Vampire Weekend).
