Jazz and blues pianist/vocalist/composer Mose Allison has been described as one of the finest songwriters of 20th century blues. His songs have been covered by countless rockers including The Who, The Clash, Elvis Costello, John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison, Leon Russell and many others. This rare performance was recorded on March 26, 1978 at the Showboat Lounge in Silver Springs, Maryland as a trio with bassist Tom Rutley and drummer Jerry Granelli. The 13-track set makes its vinyl debut.
