La Controversia Vision Divina
Visión Divina LA CONTROVERSIA Released in 1977 on Harvey Averne's Grammy-winning Coco Records, Visión Divina set New York's dancefloors alight with its incendiary brass and blazing rhythms, reigniting salsa in the process. Harvey Averne, a devoted student and lover of Latin music, showcased his deep knowledge through signings that captured the essence of mid-70s New York salsa.
Under the supervision of executive producer Larry Harlow, NYC’s premier salsa pianist and a former Fania Records producer, Visión Divina was born. Harlow, the son of opera singer Rose Sherman and Latin bandleader Buddy Harlow, employed his vast knowledge and passion for Latin music to create this masterpiece. This reissue marks its first worldwide release, celebrating Harlow's contribution to Latin music, which earned him the Latin Grammy Trustees Award in 2008.
