Kekoa Tsukiyama, a Japanese Hawaiian reggae/R&B singer known as the lead vocalist of the Hawaiian reggae group Cityside, has moved to San Diego, Southern California, and is back in action as Kekoa the Artist. He has teamed up with Josh Cardinali (Stoney Eye Studios), guitarist of the popular surf rock reggae band Rian Basilio & the Roosters, which is made up of Hawaiian Islanders and LA locals, and producer known for his dub battles with the original Jamaican dub master Scientist, and is currently releasing a series of massive EPs!The first release of the Double Cider 7' EP includes the love song 'I CHOSE YOU,' which updates the vibe of early 2000s Hawaiian reggae to a modern version, and the Pakaloro tune 'I GOT TOO FADED,' whose music video was shot at STONE BREWING in SAN DIEGO. The songs are limited to 200 copies and come with a UK style center and jacket design.
