With Live in Bangalore, Cologne-based drummer and composer Jo Beyer presents the third album of his quartet – a thrilling live document captured at the renowned Windmills in the South Indian metropolis of Bangalore. Recorded at the end of an intense India tour, the album captures an evening where everything aligned: a perfectly attuned ensemble, world-class acoustics, and an audience fully swept away. While all tracks exist in studio versions, here they have audibly matured – shaped by years of playing together, expanded improvisations, and radical interaction.
