Mourning Glow marks the second full-length release from Canadian musician and multidisciplinary artist Jessie Everill, known by her evocative stage name idialedyournumber. The album is a bold evolution of Everill’s unique sonic identity—a vibrant and emotionally raw fusion of emo, chiptune, and indie rock. She affectionately dubs this sound “pier emo,” a playful term that reflects both the nostalgic sincerity of her songwriting and her strong ties to Halifax, Nova Scotia’s coastal, DIY arts scene. With Mourning Glow, Everill deepens her genre-blending approach, crafting a soundscape that is as heartfelt as it is experimental, rooted in both personal storytelling and a deep love of glitchy, analog textures. Having Fun Records will issue a limited edition neon green vinyl version of the album complete with sticker sheet insert.
