The true essence of Hoshikuzu Scat, 20 years after it's formation. The cover single 'Station/TATTOO', released on CD in 2012, is finally available on 7-inch analog. The nostalgia, sadness, and toughness transcend time and still tug at the heartstrings. 'Station' is a song written by Mariya Takeuchi for Akina Nakamori's album in 1986. Mariya Takeuchi's self-cover version is now a standard number in Japan and has been loved by generations. 'TATTOO' was Akina Nakamori's number one hit in the summer of 1988. It is a masterpiece that shines brilliantly in the history of J-POP, fusing the good old swing sound with the cutting-edge digital sound of the time. Not only Akina Nakamori's worldview, but also the sense of speed of EVE, who piles on the backing chorus, stimulates the upbeat of the listener as a straight and modern 'TATTOO' through the harmony of the three. Hoshikuzu Scat has been covering songs of various genres for many years, and the song 'Station' is intricately woven with three voices. The theme for this cover was to express through sound and vocals the complex traffic, flow of people, multiple languages, and invisible radio waves that exist at a terminal station, which has changed significantly since the song was first created. We would like you to listen to Hoshikuzu Scat's 'Eki,' which has been praised by both Mariya Takeuchi and Tatsuro Yamashita as 'outstanding,' once again with the feel of an analog record.
