This album was written while the singer worked at a chain coffee store that was hit by a tornado. It is an album about loss, love, and barely getting by. There aren't a lot of albums that can pull off this level of sadness while simultaneously being catchy and seemingly upbeat. According to some random Redditor, this is their favorite folk punk album.
