In Tokyo in 2021, I had the rare opportunity to DJ only HARIKUYAMAKU songs. Normally, I carry a fair amount of equipment such as effects and mixers to do live dub mixes, but this time I was doing a DJ set.However, I thought that playing only songs that I had already completed, regardless of whether they were released or not, was not interesting for me as a DJ. So, for the two days before the flight, I recorded dub mixes of various songs, burned them onto a CD-R and took them with me. When I returned to Okinawa and listened to the CD-R again, I felt that it was rough in many ways, but I thought it was good including that! So I decided to distribute it. That was 'Shima DUBPLATE for Tokyo 2021'.Then, more time passed, and it was 2024. I was told that they would make this into a record. It's great! It's great, but there are some songs that are a shame to make it into a record, and some that are lacking. Streaming and recording are different things. Since it was a two-mix recording in one take, I thought I had no choice but to layer it. I chose songs from a CD-R,A2 'Ayahaberu' has a flute solo overdubbed by my good friend MAKI TAFARI.A4 'Turubaimun' was toasted by AKANMIMAN.
