From the sprawling, congested, and heat affected city of Atlanta, Georgia comes Go Public, a mutant disco day-glow post punk dance band bringing you social / political party til you drop anthems of joy and conflict while the nation is collapsing. Go Public mixes dub, afrobeat, post punk, new wave, and disco to the max building up the energy till the room is moving and the floors are shaking. The Atlanta four-piece is made up of Sean Rawls (Masters of the Hemisphere, Still Flyin'), Adrian Finch (Masters of the Hemisphere, Dances with Wolves, Elf Power), Jay Domingo, and Sam Gunn. The band formed in 2020 and released a cassette titled EP in late 2022. 'You Are Traffic' is their debut album feels and sounds like Atlanta with its sweat soaked dance rhythms, its lyrical content that radiates like the colorful murals and street art that cover the city, its an album propulsive in nature like the abundant green canopy that breathes life and provides comfort from the oppressive heat.
