The debut album (In Search Of) Excellounge appeared in the slipstream of St Germain's Tourist and became a classic in the genre. Successor Kind Of Cool contained - in addition to the title song in the best Miles Davis tradition - the film hit Sold My Soul. The successful Club Gare Du Nord had a remarkable contribution by trumpet player Erik Truffaz in the classic 'We Still Grow' and the catchy Becker/Fagen adaptation 'Go Back, Jack.'
