Futen Zoku's famous cover of Maki Asakawa's 'HUSTLIN' DAN' is finally available on 7'!The long-awaited second single from Futen Zoku, a rock 'n' roll band that turns it's back on the downtown area and slowly attracts attention from the back alleys. The A-side includes a cover of Bessie Smith's 'Hustlin' Dan,' translated into Japanese by Maki Asakawa in 1972. The song is a perfect example of the privileges of twin-guitar composition. The B-side features a simple riff and rhythm that is repeated in a way that could be described as a Futen Zoku version of folk dance, and it is full of their own unique style. https://diskunion.
