David McNeil (son of the painter Marc Chagall, novelist, composer and songwriter for Julien Clerc, Jacques Dutronc, Alain Souchon, Laurent Voulzy, Robert Charlebois, -M-, Yves Montand and many others) is one of France's greatest singer-songwriters. This multi-talented artist is releasing his new album 'Le blues de l'homme blanc' at the same time as his latest novel 'Quelques mots à propos de quelques voitures rouges' in Gallimard's prestigious 'Collection Blanche'. Here he presents us with a little gem featuring previously unreleased tracks and re-orchestrated versions, with contributions from his friends, notably Robert Charlebois, Alain Souchon, Maxime Le Forestier, Renaud, Françoise Hardy and Carla Bruni.
