Darone Sassounian Goes On

Darone Sassounian returns off the heels of the Prerequisite 12" series with a new EP titled, 'Goes On'. The A-side features a deep overture, sharing the same name as the title of the EP, "Goes On", which is a slower building, down tempo, house track. Darone reaches deep within to express his emotions, as he tries to articulate with layers and inspirations stemming from jazz on this cut. With a different approach in mind, Darone changes the direction from the Prerequisite series on this one, right from the jump. The B-side features the sweaty and warm stepper titled, "Don't Look Back". Ranging at 115 BPM, Sassounian belts a soulful crescendo to the EP. Sounds stacked with a thick and organic bass line, vocal hums, percussive programming, and dusty pad action. This cut oozes with a moody feel and keeps the vibe on full drive. This is Rocky Hill!
