Bookends Far Away But Around

Shimmering mod inspired girl pop, melody driven and catchy with a hint of garage. If there is one constant in these two inseparable cousins lives, it's music. They've been digging, playing or dreaming about music in some form or another since they were born, just 12 days apart. They spent day and night together as children growing up in households that had music playing most of the day rather than something on the television. They started out performing shows in their living rooms for family and friends, singing back-ups in the bands of early boyfriends to eventually forming their own projects. It's truly a lifelong love affair with music for these two. They formed the band, Jadoo, a sixties flavored pop band together later in their teens with late drummer, Lisa Wack Walkowiak but, shortly after that Sharon Lee moved out west. Both continued writing and playing, recording and touring with various bands over the following years. Now they are back to making music together under their lifelong, moniker, ...The Bookends!
