During the month of May 1994, Sarah Records embarked Northern Picture Library, Harvey Williams and Blueboy on a six-date tour in France. The following year, newcomer French label Aquavinyle Records released, together with a fanzine, a 7” vinyl featuring 3 songs by Blueboy recorded live at Le Bikini, Toulouse.
30 years later, Aquavinyle Records rises from its ashes with this time, a full album of their Bordeaux concert recorded at Le Jimmy the day before the concert in Toulouse. This performance, recorded on tape from the soundboard desk and carefully preserved all this time, was mixed and mastered in November 2025 by the very same sound engineer who was on duty at Le Jimmy Club that special night.
Despite the years and the acoustic conditions of the small concert venues back then, the audio quality is exceptional, immersing the listener into the electric, energetic atmosphere of one of the leading bands of the iconic British label, Sarah Records. This live album is a vibrant testament to the golden age of indie pop that will delight all fans of the genre!
