WANTON ATTACK hail from Norrkoping, Sweden, and are back with their eagerly awaited second album “Brinnande Jord”. The duo, consisting of masters of traditional heavy metal, Micael Zetterberg (drums, vocals) and Niklas Holm (guitars, bass), caused a sensation in the underground with their acclaimed, self-titled debut in 2021. Drawing heavily from NWOBHM and the roots of Swedish heavy metal, WANTON ATTACK deliver a style that is both obscure and commanding. While the influences will resonate with fans of bands like SATAN, MERCYFUL FATE and ONYX, their music is characterized by their diverse and unorthodox songwriting. “Brinnande Jord” was recorded by Kim Ekvall Lattik, the drums were recorded by Magnus Johnson, who was also responsible for the mix. Golden Core/ZYX have secured the worldwide vinyl rights to this gem. The LP has been mastered for vinyl and includes a printed insert.
