After years of planning, this album features many of VNV Nations' most popular tracks, performed solely by orchestra and voice. Other studio instruments were not used as the aim was to create a work that is as authentic as possible. VNV Nation have long been familiar with classical music and have often found inspiration for their own songs in it - with Resonance a long-awaited dream has now come true. The album was recorded with the world-famous Babelsberg Film Orchestra in its historic premises in Potsdam - very close to the stage on which legendary films such as Fritz Lang's ''Metropolis'' were made. Only the best studios were used for recording, mixing and mastering. The results speak for themselves and can certainly be described as majestic. This album is a soundtrack for a film that has yet to be made.
