Born out of over a decade of nightly performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Great Big Joy Machine steps fully into it's own with a self-titled debut album that captures the band's signature blend of virtuosity, heart, and communal joy. Recorded entirely at the historic Ed Sullivan Theater, the album channels soul, funk, rock, jazz, R&B, Brazilian, Afro-Caribbean, and world music into an exuberant, deeply human listening experience. All proceeds from the album benefit MusiCares, underscoring the band's commitment to supporting the music community beyond the stage.
