During the heyday of Hawaiian music in the 70s and 80s, Steve Maii and Teresa Bright gained popularity with their style that fused jazz and traditional Hawaiian music, and are still loved around the world, especially by AOR and rare groove fans. In contrast to their first album, which was structured around the bass and guitar of the two main members, this album features a more diverse and band-oriented sound, with members like Gaylord Holomalia of Kalapana and others who defined the era providing support.
