Starter Jackets Dead Malls

Starter Jackets from Springfield, IL are back with their Sophomore LP Dead Malls. Once again we see the songwriting and singing duties split between guitarists Luke McNeil (The Copyrights, Hospital Job) and Lanny Durbin (Local Drags). The songs are quirky and catchy and distinctly different stylistically. The nostalgia is strong with themes about growing up and their penchant for writing a perfectly constructed pop song will leave you reminiscing on all of the bands you grew up with.
